I've begun using this app to help bring my T2D under control. The various screens are visually stunning and indicate excellent programming skill and attention to detail. It make entering data easy. I ran into some problems initially due to another app, contacted the developer who responded almost immediately and worked with me until it was resolved. A First Class Act if there ever was one! I can't recommend it and the developer strongly enough. Truly deserving of encouragement and support! 👍

The following is my opinion based on my experience. The application is not all that useful as it's just a list of foods with GI. But, you can't really tell if that is similar to the food you eat. I didn't check out the weight tracker and food journal functions because I'm currently using MyFitnessPal for these functions. The ads were so annoying and intrusive that I quickly uninstalled the application. Edited

It's not just a list of foods. It also contains weight tracker with rich stats and charts, meal calculator which allows to build a meal regarding a target glycemic load/carbs content. Also there's a food diary which allows to track what you eat by GL/Carbs. It seems you too less time to check the features than writing the review. It's just unfair.

My doctor uses this app and showed me. The free version is helpful for deciding what foods to cook. The color coding is great! Premium price is very fair. Update: Food is listed in grams by default: I changed to ounces. Search is tricky. Tip: Search one-word whole food. The developer can step you through any confusion. Glad I asked for help! Ads: if I click for more info or other features, it jumps to a medical website. Confusing! But nothing the developer can help. Edited

Thank you for taking the time to review my app! Regarding the food listings being in grams I'd like to let you know that the weight unit can be changed in the app settings to better fit your needs. I'm sorry to hear that you found the search function glitchy. Please contact me with some more details about that. Thank you again for your feedback.

I paid for the full version so I can put as many values as I need to in a day. So many many great things about this app! If you test often enough it gives you an accurate a1c prediction. I could choose my own appropriate glucose levels for various testing times and circumstances. The graphing is great. Along with ability to make a note as to why your numbers are what they are. The blood pressure part is useful as is the weight and measurements. I can upload my data or hand my phone to the Dr.

I paid so I could see the gylcemic load and carb information for foods. But it's been disappointing. The only options are either grams or ounces. That doesn't work for everything. Also the food list is lacking. You don't have tortillas on the list!! It would be so much better if you could scan bar codes!!! I'll stick to Myfitnesspal!!
