I have a professional scan tool but it doesn't have any of the special functions for my 2012 Nissan Frontier. So to adjust the idle speed I bought a OBDll blue tooth adapter that was rated higher than the ELM327. After initial setup a message displayed saying that CVTz50 was designed for operating systems older than the one installed on my Android based smart phone. Although it wouldn't display any real time data on my phone, it did allow me to increase the idle speed. It was worth $4.99.

Wow! If you have a Nissan with a CVT transmission, you NEED this app! It is simply amazing, and displays information no other app does: temperature, stats, graphs and allows you to make changes to CVT operation. It is also in active development, with new features to test all the time. The customer service is incredibly quick. I think this app is an incredible bargain, and might save you from having to prematurely replace your CVT transmission. Get it now! I use it with a Vgate iCar-Pro adapter.

This app has made my driving experience much better on my 2013 Nissan Frontier. I was able to adjust the RPM higher and advance the timing +2°. By adjusting the RPM it eliminated the steering wheel vibration at idle. Adjusting the throttle plus two degrees makes the acceleration more responsive. The only thing I can't do is display the graphics. If you have a solution for this it would be great! Edited

In the beginning was working very well, I had no issues with it. After one month of use, the app connects, send/receive data for just for 20-30sec. And then stops, like it is disconnected. I though it was from the adapter, so I buy a brand new one. And still the same issue. Both of the adapters have good chips. Any suggestions please? I am using it on Z51 Murano. Edited

This app is perfect 👍 especially for our mechanic shop . After replacing the valve body on CVT8 we was able to do procedures of relearning of CVT clutch points and G sensor. Perfect!!! If this App will have the function of Write and Clean the CVT data calibration file that would be a professional program. Also I didn't find a function of Adaptive reset and relearning adaptive value - I think this guys will fix it soon. !!!!! Edited
