My 2.5 yr old loves playing "owl school" Some of the lessons are a little advanced for her, and I help talk her through them, but she has learned so much! I was looking for something because she is really interested in letters and points out all the T's, etc, in her books, but would often mix up similar looking letters. Perfectly expected, but she loves learning with Duo. I love that it's free and ad free. I'm sure by the time she's more in the target age range, she will be learning even more.

I'm a youth programmer at a large library system & a parent to a preschooler. I love this app. My preschooler is completely engaged and loves it. It's a perfect balance of stories, writing, learning to sound out letters/words and sight words. I can't wait to watch her progress through more levels. We finish level 1 in the first weekend. I've been telling all the caregivers at my programs about this app. I'm hoping you make ones for learning other languages too. Thanks for being ad free!

My daughter is 3 1/2 years old and has been using this app for about a year (it's less of a headache to have her play "her games" in the car rather than listening to kids' songs/nursery rhymes all the way to our destination). Today she casually walked up to me with a book and STARTED READING IT TO ME! She was pointing to the words that she was reading and sounding out some of the bigger words! The kicker is, we just bought said book last night and haven't read any of it to her yet! Get this Ap

My boy has really liked it. Even though he complains sometimes "not duo again!" Even then he has fun and typically does more than one level...but... Is that it?! He just got through the whole thing and... I was expecting some story thing to happen with the library or a new section to open up. He got to the end and... Nothing. That's it. Just reset the data and go again?

This is great for my autistic 5 year old with speech and language delays. The objectives and stories are spoken very clearly and simply. I love the elements included in the stories like numbers. The design is clean and attractive but not distracting. It offers plenty of repetition, and you can easily repeat lessons to get more practice. My neurotypical 3 year old also enjoys it! The best part is that it is free and has no ads. Thank you, Duo! Edited
