it really works! I have several medical issues that I am dealing with right now and the last thing I would would want would be more meds! The Wave 2 is a fantastic alternative that works and even goes beyond the scope of just hot flashes for me, I use it for relaxation, times of better concentration, and a little more energy to get things done. they also do care about their customers deeply! Emailing them with a question or a problem and a response follow-up comes almost immediately.

A great addition to the Embr Wave hardware! Intuitive and effective, doesn't require a subscription fee, connects easily to my device, offers useful and unobtrusive hints, and allows for customization of my experience. The Embr Wave isn't cheap, but with my chronic illness and chronic pain both made significantly worse by bad temperature regulation, this is absolutely worth it!

**Downsides:** The app is cluttered and lacks a dark mode. I want to change the layout; the top row shows recommendations instead of session selections or favorites. It would be useful if the app supported two devices for a bilateral experience. **Positives:** After a week, I customized the app to my needs and used it in a business meeting. I thought the embr itself was godsend, this app takes it to yet another level. I love the all-day temperature settings that I can customize just for me. It does take some time to adjust to using the embr, but be patient, give your body time to adapt and find the sweet spot to wear it, and let the cooling (or warming) waves sooth your senses. If you have the embr, pair it with the app; you'll be very glad you did.

I'm slowly navigating my way through the app. It seems pretty user-friendly & and straightforward. & if you're thinking of buying this or renting it.... go for it! Especially if you're going thru a life change...lol. It keeps my hot flashes manageable because it's keeping my inner thermostat cooler.
