Before the latest update, the graphics and bugs were immense, but I've had a smooth time lately, other than maybe a tiny freeze when it loads up cutscenes into the battle maps. Plus, it seems like they updated the resolution because everything seems much clearer than previous versions of this app. It's definitely recommended if you don't have a Switch, but you still want to play XCOM 2 on the go.

Almost too glitchy to play. Crashes, game-breaking bugs, and missions taking 5 actual minutes to load. Also, game requires you to be connected to the Internet to verify your games license. Despite it being an awesome game, it's almost unplayable in this condition. The whole game dev team is notorious for never fixing glitches so don't count on a patch. They really shouldn't even be selling this. EDIT: no, auto-reply, I'm not submitting a separate ticket for each 20+ issues. Hire a beta tester Edited

Overall an impressively complete port of a great AAA game. Although not a deal breaker, there's a few technical issues with the game. I run into a crash every 2-3 hours of gameplay (Samsung S22) which can be annoying. The game also predictably eats up a lot of CPU. Performance takes a huge hit if you have apps running in the background. Other than that it's a great port with no microtransactions, and I hope it sets a precedent for similar ports by other publishers in the future.

Buggy...but...it's XCOM2, which i have 1000+ hrs on PC...so I love the game. I'm playing on an S24+, so plenty of power, but every turn now in battle the gamma goes full blast, and the screen turns white. It's basically unplayable unless I save and reload every turn, sometimes multiple times a round. For some reason, it seems to activate the gamma bug every time a shot misses.

An update for XCOM 2 has been released today which will resolve the graphical issues that you encountered when playing. Please update via the Google Play Store and you will be able to play without further problem.

Good game but it has an irredeemable flaw. I paid $15 so they really shouldn't be something I have to deal with. There's no option for action confirmation. It has a feature you can't turn off where you can double tap to do stuff instead of selecting where you want and then pressing a "go" button. The feature is also extraordinarily buggy and unpredictable. I've had to reload countless times because someone moved way off where I didn't want them to or a grenade is tossed into the abyss.
