Arguably better than Rome:Total War in the campaign map due to the fact that public order is far less annoying to deal with. Same game, different time period, which gives a different perspective and fresh new experience in the game. Although there is redudancy among unit selections, It's not enough to dull the game experience. Edited

I doubt you guys will see this.I've bought all of the total wars on mobile, and i love it loving the updates but in the recent twrome barbarian invasion update i feel like you guys got rid of a really cool feature and you don't have to, but I think it was really cool. The ability to name cities. For example, a lot of the cities are named by the Romans. It'd be cool if I could change those again. Sorry for the long review. weird, I remember nameing viscus saxones saxonhagen?? Edited

We have looked into this in more detail and can see that the ability to rename settlements was not available in the main ROME game, but in BI it was possible to do so in the Android version. The feature was removed in BI to match ROME, as it could lead to UI overlaps when names are too long.

I can't really play, I don't know if it's lag or a glitch but when i move the screen stuff stays in the old but still goes into the new position, copying it with every frame. And they don't go away unless you leave, and after a couple seconds the whole screen is covered. So now I have to play without moving the screen AT ALL. And all this is on top of lag. Other than that this is a perfect game I think. And I emphasize I think because I can't play it enough to find out

Just like the original Rome, very well done on this port. it did end up reminding me why i never really played BI, it can be fairly boring, or very, very difficult. all depending on the faction you choose and not much middle ground. not a lot of fighting goes on in the campaign, mostly because west and east rome own most of the map and there isnt many factions. still I do enjoy playing the game and doing mock custom battles, just to see what happens lol.

Pretty great. Gotta love having a TW game in your pocket. Definitely agree that the 'distance from capital' penalty, is way too strong. Makes it nearly impossible to grow large empires without rebellions every turn. Tweaking that could make a world of difference. Also, alliances seem to mean nothing. Allies will turn on you rapidly and without provocation consistently. Edited
