This new app is TERRIBLE on a phone. The old app provided an easy to view image of the entire page, that was large enough to read on my phone. It allowed one to browse the paper the same way one does with a print copy, by moving one's eyes) and then read articles of interest. The text was large enough to read on the phone without zooming, This new app reduce the actual size of the text area because the page has been elongated from a normal print format page. Much more bad.... Edited

The app has improved a little in the past 6 months, but it is really difficult to log in. It doesn't recognize whether I'm a subscriber or not. I'm having difficulty unsubscribing, which it says I need to do on Google Play. That doesn't make any sense. Does that mean when I uninstall, I'm unsubscribed? Doubtful. And I'll probably be charged $19.99. Sorry. I enjoyed reading the paper; it's just too much using the app.

The app rarely remembers who you are, has very poor search and gives you Sarasota Herald Tribune "light". Considering this newspaper has become a publisher of The Associated Press, Washington Post and The New York Times articles the shortcomings may actually be a benefit if it were not for the search deficiencies in finding articles in the daily paper. Downloaded update today and this app is basically useless. No search option and articles in print are not all avaailable. App is now photo crazy. Edited

Tried to read the enewspaper (which is full of print ads) but the app keeps hanging when they try to overlay app ads. Must be having problems with their ad server since sometimes it works and sometimes it hangs.

I have to uninstall and then re-install this app on my phone at least twice per week due to app not opening the day's edition. Also, app bounces back to previous article read when trying to access new article. Terrible!
