Calendar works fine. My major gripe is with Google. When using an Android phone, & there's an update, I want a little bit of information as to what the update is. When you click what's new, all there is - an AI description of the app. No! Google, you need to be more forthcoming. Tell us what the actual changes and updates are to the app.

I like the full screen widget. It helps me because of the color changing features. I put everything I need to do in blue or yellow and when it is complete I change it to green so I can easily see my progress. it gameifys it a bit making it something I continue to do. I set daily intentions, grocery lists, and everything I dont want to forget in there

I think the calendar app is great if you ONLY use Google for everything. Unfortunately, my work uses Microsoft for everything, and the integration with Exchange is terrible. I'll have events show as not accepted, they rarely sync well, etc. If devs could fix that integration so that it works as reliably as it does in Apple Calendar (I have 3 calendars) then it would really fix a lot of the annoyance I face when trying to use Pixel. This is actually a primary reason I can't give up my iPhone. Edited

It would be better to have a 4 × 2 calendar widget. It would be useful when you just want to quickly know what's the date of the next Thursday without needing to open the whole calendar app. The widgets are a little buggy when you switch between light and dark mode (not sure if that's a Android 16 beta/QPR issue).

This app was good if not great for the longest time. But just like all other Google products, eventually they change something and break everything. Lately I've been getting appointments automatically created in my calendar from my Gmail, that's cool. But every time that happens it's for the incorrect time or date. I try to move the appointment and it's an error. I try to change it can it doesn't let me. Calendar is failing at it's one job and now I need a 3rd party app to feel safe. Edited

Hi Graig. Let's try clearing the cache of the Calendar app: Open Phone settings - Select Apps or App & notifications - Choose Google Calendar - Tap Storage - Clear cache - OK.
