This watch is an upgrade to my son's Fitbit Kids 3. The size of the watch face and interactive bands I thought was an awesome upgrade. He stays way more active with the different games he can unlock by getting steps. Cons: -The location is not reliable. Takes forever to load. -The battery life is terrible whether he plays on it all day or wears it for school no games. It doesn't last and needs to be charged around the 9-hour mark. -I can't use the Fitbit Ace app on my Samsung Galaxy 7 watch.

Great app, helps us keep up with our childs activity while keeping in contact with them. Would love to rate this app higher, but the issue we experienced is with the family quest. The app needs to be actively open to track footsteps. Please enable some sort of 'Adventure Sync' that can track activity in the background. Update: lowered my 4 star to 2 star because of the step counter issue. Went on a 2 hour walk with family. Got done and pull up the app (running in the background) Nothing saved! Edited

The Fitbit ACE has been a fantastic alternative for my 11 yr old, since we feel she's too young for a cellphone and still want a way for her to communicate with trusted contacts. She enjoys the quests and games. It's a fun way to keep kids active via the watch. The app is easy to use. I would like the ability to add contacts who don't have an email . There have been a few times the lte didn't work. Otherwise, it's a solid option!! I look forward to seeing how they expand the functionality.

This app is just ok for now. It has room for improvement. I don't mind having a separate app for connecting to my kids. This might be the actual hardware, but there are a lot of times the location just tells me it cannot find device. I like the school time block, but there are other times where I would like it to be in this mode, so some customization on that would be good. Last think I will address here is calls use notification sound and you can only pick notification sounds, not call sounds.

Bought this for my daughter, and she loves her watch! When she first got the watch, she was constantly playing with it, and I was worried she was going to get too addicted. After 2 days, the novelty wore off, and she now looks at the watch casually when she has alerts or doing quests. Fitbit did a great job with daily quests (walking up 20 flights of stairs, taking 7000 steps, mediating for 5 minutes, watching the supermoon, etc), b/c my daughter wants to complete them. It's been great! Edited
