First impression: Holy cow they mobile-gamed the hell out of this. There's so many menus and tabs for microtransactions, it's wild. I know a free game has to make a buck somehow but sheesh this is not subtle at all. You even get a banner mid-game when SOMEONE ELSE spends money on an expensive bundle as some sort of motivator I'm guessing. Credit where it's due, the gameplay is still fun. That's the only reason I still gave 3 stars. But I can't see myself or others like me putting up with this.

Basically the PC version with a few pay incentives, which I believe aren't in the Premium version. Some characters are pay locked, but others can be unlocked or earned currency can be used. If the payments were more fair, I'd give it 5 stars. Seems a bit greedy considering the benefits of paying for the game on PC or Premium. Solid port otherwise.

Loads of in app purchases. I understand the need to make money, and the game itself is wonderful, but the sheer amount of in app purchases and seasonal content requiring daily logins puts a really sour taste in my mouth having spent more then 50 hours on the PC version of the game. Play at your own discretion and be aware there will always be a button close by in most screens trying to get you to spend money.

So far, so good. I sunk hundreds of hours on the steam version, I hope it this version don't become a money grab. UPDATE: Reducing to 3 stars. So far, in order to progress there is a soft paywall of around $2. You can get around it, but it will take a while. On Level 3 (Forgotten Viaducts) the boss Hydra doesn't spawn. Meaning you can't unlock the spell book at level start. Quite annoying. Shortening the runs from 30 to 12-15 minutes apparently makes skipping bosses and bricking achievements. Edited

they've removed core functionality of the game just to sell it to you for more than you can buy the "premium' version for. the original version of the game will no longer be updated and likely to be removed from sale. heartless cash grab and upon my first death I received 3 minutes of unskippable ads in a row. do not reccomend. Just buy it on PC to support the original developers
