App SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had purchased a second Clip 5 and was looking forward to playing music in Stereo with both speakers. I got them to stereo connect, then did the update (because it stated that I could make a stereo connection permanent). After the update, it wouldn't pair up and said I needed to update the software. When I looked at the software, it said that it was up to date. Apparently the app and the devices don't work after updates. Hope I can get my money back.

this app used to work but now it won't connect to my speakers. it just says "connecting..." forever. if you close the app and restart it, it can't even see the device even though it's connected via Bluetooth. you have to disconnect and reconnect via Bluetooth to get it to see it again, but then it gets stuck on Connecting... again

i bought boom box 3, i don't know why it keeps on disconnecting every 40-50 seconds, i tried different devices with the same issue persisting, its so frustrating, so expensive the speaker but you cannot enjoy listening for a minute?? firmware and software needs to be refine otherwise no point using JBL product and this silly app, JBL losing their quality just like Apple... well done ❤️🩹

when it works its great. trouble is it is flaky. drops out, switches from stereo to party mode, loses track of speaker. both speakers work just fine. Having newer galaxy ultra, will connect 2 speaker thru BT, however its not in stereo. this app has been buggy since i first started using at lleast 3 yrs ago, with no improvement. so, use it but dont be disappointed if it doesnt meet expectations. its too bad, jbl makes a great portable powered speaker, too bad they ignore app

Great speaker! Was looking for something to use around my workshop and outdoor work. This fit the bill from the POV of dust and water resistance with good tonal quality (tho, I'm not as uber an audiophile as many others are). The setup on my Android took 30 secs. The reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the volume contol that doesn't have more low settings--a couple notches and you are nearing blast, which is an issue if sharing a living space or use in small, enclosed areas.
