I've been using this for 2-3 years to help me stay motivated and accountable. This app is simple to use and has a lot of features for tracking practice over time (week, month, year) as well as by piece. I like the ability to add notes to the piece you are practicing and how easy it is to add songs to a session. Overall it's great for tracking practice for new pieces as well as logging/maintaining repertoire. Edited

One of the best apps on my phone. I use it constantly to track the time I spend making music. The only thing that could make it better would be to allow an option to record in higher quality audio. As it stands, the audio recording feature is very low bit rate which renders it practically useless for me. If they would add an option to allow at least 128 kbps MP3s for recording I'd be immensely grateful! Edited

Much love for this app! You input pieces or exercises you're playing, and when you begin a practice session you can track the time spent on each piece. You can record yourself to track your progress aurally as well. I would appreciate the option to NOT save a recording, because often times I will mess up and then I have to delete the recording in the session list AND the main list. Also, the places to add notes while you're practicing is kind of buggy for me. The cursor hops around sometimes.

Hi, thanks for your review. We will look into providing an option to not save recordings if you make a mistake. In the meantime, you shouldn't have to delete the recording twice. If you delete it directly from the main list it should be completely removed.

This is an excellent tool to keep you on track. It has the ability to set categories (e.g. "Review songs) , track time per day, days, weeks, months. You can even record sessions, or bass lines and play to them, set practice reminders, and the app gives you encouragement for work doing the week (which I enjoy). I don't set specific goals, but you can do that if you want. Out of all the music apps, this is the best and the one I use daily. Outstanding!!!! Edited

This app is simple and does what it does most effectively without a clutter of useless features. It's perfect for breaking down practice by instrument, piece/exercise you're practicing, date. It let's me see what pieces I've practiced when and for how long, how my practice has been this week/month, setup some basic goals and also has a little metronome built in for my warmups. Suggestion: I would like to see the metronome remember my last bpm.
