Despite the name, this is probably the best Midi Live looping DAW available for android. Use the internal synth, or link it to FluidSynth (free), or BS-16i (paid but better sounds and filter fun). I strongly recommend getting or creating a better SF2. Lots of great ones available free if you google around. Or use Polyphone on computer to combine different SF2s to get your ideal synth. Cons the interface is complex and can be difficult to navigate. Also, can't export songs. Pros everything else!

Midi connection is not working with Roland consistently. I can connect other midi apps with the same synth.

Hi,
MIDIArranger is using the standard Android MIDI API. Please make sure you are connected first(use CONNECT).
If still does not work then it is probably the cable. You can use this app, created by Android MIDI developers, to test: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileer.example.midiscope.
