Disappointing! I love the sound from my JBL Bar 1000 system. However, the lack of eq presets or even the ability to create and save custom profiles is very disappointing! The 10 year old Samsung this system replaced at least had multiple presets for music and surround sound. Hard to believe JBL did not include something!

The application has both its disadvantages and advantages, the disadvantages can be argued about for a long time. But some things are simply unacceptable. And I'm talking about the lack of Deezer support. Yes, it's not the most popular service, but this service provides uncompressed music and it would be logical to suggest that it should be presented here one of the first. Since JBL one combines speakers that give the listener a little more than a regular Bluetooth speaker.

Every single time I have an issue with casting (which this $500 speaker is supposed to be based around) I've found the fix is to kill the "JBL One" app, and then it works beautifully. It took me a LOT of troubleshooting to figure this out, and the issues happen constantly. On an S22+ This is not acceptable for computer illiterate people. For me, fine, I found the fix. But others...

Took like 8 times to connect my soundbar to WiFi. Spent 1k on a soundbar and the app has zero equalizer presets to toggle through for different audio use cases. The equalizer that's there just allows 3 settings to be adjusted, low mid and high. Yes you can save your settings, but you can't save multiples. Sometimes I want it set for dialog, sometimes I may want to set it for music. Ridiculous!

Yet another poorly designed app that prioritizes form over function. Connecting a bluetooth speaker should be quick and easy. Should reconnect every time. Shouldn't need an app just to flip on a setting for "bluetooth autoreconnect". You restrict a device from reconnecting just so people use your dumb app. Also had to reinstalland clear cache and re-pair the device just to be able to turn on the autoreconnect setting because it was greyed out for no reason. Poor design for expensive speakers.
