Notifications and messaging features are unusable. I would like to see notification only about direct messages, but there is no such option. Instead, app rings with spam notifications every 20 minutes. Turning notifications off through in-app settings does not work. I had to completely disable notifications through system settings, but because of that, I miss direct messages. Additionally, there are a lot of minor bugs, like messages are marked unread even after reading them Edited

Originally, LinkedIn was a reputable platform for networking with your business colleagues, researching jobs, skill sharing, collaboration, and posting your resume/skills, but over time has added games, trite social media features, and UI changes that have impacted its usefulness. Though I turned off notifications, the app and website don't honor my choices or privacy anymore, so uninstalling it once and for all.

Lots of problems. If you use a template and customize your outreach, it just reverts any changes back to the template when you send. Only realized this after wasting time customizing dozens of outreaches. An old colleague replied, and I was embarrassed to see it had sent the standard template with no personal touch, even though I took care to craft it. Edited

I really don't understand how it's possible to screw up buttons this bad in 2025. You swipe a notification to access the action buttons, right? To actually delete one, you have to touch a very tiny zone in the bottom right of the button. Now, if you turn your phone to landscape, the touch zone moves completely off of the button! And then this begs the question, why is there so much wasted space in landscape? These are some amateur level bugs.

Used to be fine, but not long ago they started updating the app and changing the app icon back and forth between 2 different designs. they've changed it so many times in the past few weeks, it's ridiculous. Not sure what happened. I am an organized person on Android, I organize my apps, but every time they update this app icon, its location gets reset. I gave up putting it back where it goes. STOP IT! either change the icon or don't, but stop doing it so often.
