The most recent capture tends to disappear after capture, then maybe pop back up later. Right now my recent capture switched to processing then disappeared so I have no idea if it worked or not! Once you start uploading your images beware they're essentially not yours anymore. Turn off auto upload so you can download them beforehand! They should let the user who took the capture download the image later even after upload! Edited

Hi Troy, when you upload a capture, it goes into "Processing" with a banner at the top of the homepage letting you know how many captures are currently processing. It is not visible to you during this time because we are blurring faces/license plates, etc. Within 24 hours it should become visible in your feed. We will work to make this more clear.

Every update removes functionality. There used to be more control over image timing and distance between photos. Gone. But my biggest gripe is that I can no longer select which way my phone is facing relative to the car. My recent uploads all show it on the map as though the photos were taken backwards. This is incorrect as the phone was facing forwards. I plan to do sideways facing soon, so they need to fix it. I plan to use the photos to upload OSM, *IF* they can be quality.

Hi Michael, thanks for the feedback! As you mentioned, we standardized the distance between photos - this was done to increase image density to make mapping more useful for OSM so that you can see sufficient detail everywhere. For phone orientation, we can auto-detect the correct position, but have noticed a bug there which we will work to resolve.

Ever since the upgrade to v1.0, all the features are unstable. When I tap on a sequence in the Explore tab, it shows a completely different area than from where I tapped at. A previous review mentioned the same issue, in which the developers responded and claimed that a recent update fixed the issue - I can attest, it did not fix the issue at all and definitely still needs to be fixed. There is a plethora of issues that this review will not allow me to share, but I digress. What a shame.

Hi Kent, I think you might have Mapillary confused with something else. Mapillary is a street level imagery platform. You capture images using your phone's camera, which we process and host for free. Mapillary doesn't capture anything on your phone. I hope this helps, and we would appreciate an updated rating and review.

It works alright excapt for orientation. Just doesn't show the correct orientation quite often, a shame. Keeps telling me "waiting for WiFi" whe' I want to upload despite me having the settings to upload via mobile network.

Thank you for your review Malik - could you check to see if you still have these issues with the latest version? We use Google's new Fused Orientation Provider API, and I just confirmed that uploading without Wi-Fi should now be working correctly. Best, Boris, Mapillary Product Manager
