OneNote mobile has improved much over the years. Problems syncing is still an issue, but not as frequent. Also there are some features I don't find helpful. 1) Not having a choice to open to your notebook list rather than recents. I can count on one hand the number of times I've used the recents page. 2) Moving pages takes you out of the notebook you're in to the notebook you've moved the page; this is only annoying because in mobile you can only move 1 page at a time. We’re sorry you’re having trouble with OneNote. We’ve made some fixes to the latest version of the app. To get these fixes, please update to the latest version of the app from Google Play store. If you continue to have trouble, send feedback in the app or send email to [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help.

Whenever I try to use the android app: *open app; see that the contents of my notes are out of date; wait several minutes; nothing happens; search around in vain for a manual sync; open and close app completely several times; give up*. Seriously, what's the point of keeping my notes on the cloud if the app literally never syncs? EDIT: years later came back to give a 1 star review for having to hard-close the app every couple minutes to reset its behavior. Totally inconsistent.

it's not good. duplicates of every note but no way to get rid of them. if I delete a note it doesn't erase from my view, only when I click on it does it erase after telling me it "doesn't exist anymore". newly created notes aren't shown at the top of the screen even when sorting by modified date. nothing makes any sense. weirdly difficult to use which is a bummer because I love onenote Edited

OneNote has been my note taking app of choice for almost 10 years. I left Evernote when the subscription started. OneNote may seem "old fashioned" when compared to Notion or Obsidian, but it's an easy program to learn and offers tons and tons of features without having to pay extra to unlock any. I've tried other note taking apps, but I always go back to OneNote after a week, or even a day! I do wish they'd update it more often, though.

Always loved the pc version. Sorry I used this on android and glad this is going away soon. Absolute garbage. Regular sync issues. No recovery of deleted files available on android app, which is exactly what you want on a mobile device which can unlock in a pocket or have a fauty touch screen. Sadly typical of Microsoft. I am upset enough to bail on MS across the board - windows, office, etc. If I accidently lose data on a free app, I at least didn't pay to lose it.
