Customization on the kiosk mode is 'OK'. You do see some weirdness sometimes with the way some shortcuts (web-based) display. Only real issue, there's about a 50% chance for a background to actually set during enrollment on most Android devices for me. 🤷 I think there's room for improvement, but it's a good utility to be able to lock down devices or 'simplify' them for users. I wish the Home Screen allowed or incorporated some static widgets? Like areas where notes or info could be displayed?

I'm surprised how many negative reviews even when the description clearly says that this app is designed for managed devices, controlled by intune or any other MDM. App works as intended, but needs serious polishing, especially on a device lock/unlock side as it is requiring PIN in conjunction with lousy Screensaver. We need to have simple Swipe to unlock, basically to inherit device security policies.

I'd like to be able to brand the wallpaper on these devices (we use the multi-app mode. I'd also love to make use of the admin unlock PIN but can't see any documentation on how to implement this Also, It doesn't seem to support landscape mode for Android tablets

Thom, thanks for your feedback. Please refer to this support doc on how to use the admin unlock PIN and set custom wallpaper: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/device-restrictions-android-for-work#kiosk-settings . I get what this is trying to do and that it's aimed at whole organizations, but having the device enrolled to the organization is really too much work for small businesses that are just looking to set up a little kiosk to maybe just advertise their product/app. It's completely unusable for people like that.

Within Endpoint Manager unable to set the length of numeric pin or complexity. The timer for a pin, only works with "screensaver and pin to unlock" enabled the default Andriod is 30 seconds to save battery users hate it keep having to put pin in.
