Developer communication with users is essential for delivery of an optimal product experience. Recent replies to other reviews was a major factor convincing me to download this app. I will update to a 5-Star rating if the following features are added: 1. Plates comparing similar species in flight, as in the physical version of the Sasol bird guide. 2. names of other species mentioned in descriptions converted to links to those respective species (similar to Wikipedia). 3. Shazam for bird calls. Edited

Affordable. My first bird app, thus I can not compare it to other apps. I would suggest you contact Doug Newman for sound tracks, as some are absent and some are poor quality. I have not explored much further than the sound tracks.

I've found this app to be quite useful, especially for my young son who is becoming a keen birder - however, as of this morning (the new year) - his "life list" is completely empty in the app and can't find it anywhere. Is there any plan to recover it? Why would this be? I would be happy to rate the app again, assuming there is a solution here.

My favorite, been using it for years. Very little info on this app though which is a disappointment, needs to be addressed please. I find myself constantly using multiple bird books and online searches to find out more info on particular birds
