It has a whole bunch of features, but I'll go over one that I love and one that isn't amazing. The curves tool is absolutely incredible and allows for some truly magical edits, as well as just being super fun to play with. The not so great bit is the text tool. It's finicky and not very customizable beyond a very limited scope. However, there are plenty of other apps that can do that, and it's not a big downside all things considered.

I use many different graphic apps, some have capabilities that others don't so I will choose different ones accordingly. I'll often edit images in one app, save it or send it to another one, & again to another for it's particular strengths. Snapseed is one I choose often. There's a good selection of ready made editing tools plus a greater set of more sophisticated tweaking tools. The app does what it does quite well & once you get the hang of it, the process becomes intuitive and easy. Edited

this app has a whole bunch of features that make it great for simple editing or if you want to make your photos have a vintage, old, or retro effect. very easy to use. the curves feature is also very great for having fun. the only downside would have to be the text tool since it's very limited in what you can put there (e.g no 3d text), but hey it is what it is regardless since it serves as a basic photo editing software/app. Edited

Snapseed has been my editing companion for years! It’s one of the best photo editing apps out there—simple, powerful, and completely free. From basic adjustments to advanced tools like selective editing and healing, it never fails to enhance my photos just the way I want. Truly a must-have for anyone who loves clean and professional edits!

This app was once solid, an easy four stars. Unfortunately in the past few months it's unable to handle high resolution PNGs. Every image 2k+ I import into Snapseed becomes heavily pixelated, the degradation of quality makes it unusable for high quality images. I have no idea what changed but it's very frustrating. This issue is nonexistent in other image editing apps, I'm able to import my images at full quality without any issues. Until this issue is fixed I cannot recommend Snapseed.
