Overall a very solid app. I've been using my budget book for years to keep myself on track. I do have two complaints. You can select the widget to display its own account instead of the app selected one. Great, but when I click the button to add a transaction, it defaults to the app selected, not what's on the widget, making it easy to add it to the wrong account. My main reason for 4/5 is when you open the app, it doesn't scroll to today. You have to find it yourself. This gets confusing.

When you open the app, the current day is displayed in the list of transactions, unless the app has been moved in the background. Then it opens where it was before. Unfortunately, I only have a short text length to reply (unlike the users). It would be really nice if you could send an email to
[email protected] instead of leaving a review.

The My Budget Book Pro has rightfully gained our favors for being a smart response to our needs for organizing and tabulating our money, or in sum, for simplifying our accounting. However, an app is only as good as the developer's effective response to fix issues and keep up with improvements. For unknown reasons, there has been a long lag here. We only hope this is just a lapse before renewed activity regains our confidence Edited

The app is continuously and regularly developed further. I am sorry that your individual request could not be considered yet. It's a pity that you're lowering your rating because of this, but of course that's your right. I wish you all the best.

I love this app. it's got everything I'm looking for. I love how you can customize just about everything to suit your needs. I also love the recurring option for bills and allocating my money on paydays for different budgets, so I don't have to spend a bunch of time doing that myself. I think the best part of the app, though, is that it's a one-time payment for the pro version and not a subscription.

The Pro app is fantastic. I've used the previous version for 7 years. This is still is the best financial app I've used. The Pro version takes the app to another level. Best way I've found to track income, expenses and investments in a secured manner. Budgeting is a breeze. New savings goal is a welcomed addition. The cards on the home page give a at-a-glance status of your finances. Kudos to the developers. Edited

Using My Budget Book for many years now, and I'm glad to go Pro and support the responsive developer. Clean UI, lots of settings (even red/green shades for expenses/income of the colorblind!), and easy data entry; Pro draws me in with Split Transactions, and I'd like to learn more about how I can benefit from the visualization options. Tips for the new and upgrading: tap below the + on the widget to select accounts; long-press the app icon for shortcuts; see the built-in manual via Support.
