The app often doesn't get the area detection right leading to over brushing to get 100% coverage. It also frequently registers 0 seconds brushed after a session that clearly had a time just before turning the brush off. Add in several random disconnects & sessions being broken up when it does register a time brushing and it seems you would be better off just brushing without the app. If it's not going to work right maybe save us all some money by ditching the app & charging less for the brush.

A week ago, the app started crashing as soon as I turned my toothbrush off when I finished brushing. It logged some sessions, but not all of them. I decided to uninstall the app and re-install it and it doesn't crash anymore, except now all my previous data is useless. I signed into my account and while my previous sessions do appear in the history tab, they all are listed as "unguided" which means they don't count for anything, and is especially frustrating given they were ALL guided sessions.

Updating a previous review to "1". The app has stopped working completely as of this month (Feb 2025). Doesn't connect, connects only intermittently, doesn't recognize location, timer doesn't work. This app has not been updated since 2024. I'll let that sink in. Back to Sonicare, this time permanently. Edited

Overall, this app has been working well. ***Two areas to improve: 1) The "Rinsed" record option should be listed separately from the brush record because mouth rinse should not be done immediately after brushing. 2) Need to add an option to delete a session that was incorrectly saved automatically, especially for the "Unguided" sessions. => update: can swipe to delete a session. Update: The recognition of each area cleaned is often not accurate during the guided brushing. Edited

To help improve position detection, start with the outside surfaces of the teeth and move from one tooth to the next, letting the brush sit against each tooth briefly, and then repeat this with the chewing and inside surfaces. Serviceable app. It's evolved nicely over the years so it's nice to see the programmers maintain the app. One recent unwelcome change is the screen that shows the mouth map for brushing and battery strength uses to be the dominant screen. Now it defaults to a bunch of hints for brushing and you have to manually swipe back to the most important screen - how much battery is left (and your brushing map). Please make that the default screen. I'll boost to five stars! Edited
