What you get for free is very limited but still really useful for beginners. One crucial thing the app is missing are hausa characters (ƙ,ɗ,ɓ and maybe ƴ) for the written hausa because the characters are pronounced a certain way that differs from k,d,b and y. It's just confusing when the words and the screen and the sound don't match. Overall I think this app brilliant for the first steps for learning hausa. You get daily lesson for free and a pronunciation analysis at the end too

Nice app so far. I like learning languages with audio and I like how I get to repeat things till I can say them. I'm learning Hausa as an Igbo girl because I like the language. Also hoping to try out their Igbo lessons. I like that they have African languages. I think their free audio library is enough to learn the basics of the language you want. And if you're consistent with the daily lessons, you'll actually probably get to know a lot. The learning method works for me. Less clicking 👍🏼

Do not Download!!! Absolutely a waste of precious time & data. What's my concern with pronouncing musical instruments,... Of alll the relatable day to day words available out there! Rubbish!!!

It's not so nice for a beginner to go into making sentences right away. I think key words should be learnt first before learning their combinations.
