Love this app for drilling on where the staff pitches map to the fretboard.Im just doing first position now, but plan to learn 5th position too. It takes tons of reps, but easy to do while away from my guitar.havent explored the other features yet, but will. Only thing I wish is that I could shrink the fretboard to just focus on the frets I'm learning, instead of having to see the full fb all the time.

You will learn the fretboard, which is great if that's your intent. However, you will also be forced to learn music notation. If you already know music notation, too bad -- you can't disable specific types of exercises, which would be a useful feature. I'm not disappointed but there is room for improvement.

You can create customizable Trainer and Practicum profiles and choose any types of exercises, also it is possible to define the area of notes you want to focus on.
Here is how to create a customizable profile:

This lis quite good app once you learn your way round it, However I would like the option of missing out the five second limit which is very frustrating if your just learning this would be ok in an advanced mode, would also like to be able to start or concentrate on different sections on the fret board. After playing this for a while getting fed up going over the first five frets. I have tried the different game levels still think the five second limit to play would be better if choice o longer Edited

For now there is "Starting level" option in game settings which makes game starting having the first frets already opened.

Very helpful for focused learning of the fretboard and relating it to both sounded and written notes. I also am finding that without intending it I am training my ear to recognize notes and intervals. This is really appreciated. Thank you. I would suggest that to enhance learning this unexpected skill you add a category of Intervals questions like, "Identify the 5th above this note" and showing a written note, another time a fret, and another time a sounded note with name.

After trying pretty much every fretboard trainer available, I can clearly say that this one is the best! It's really complete and highly customisable to fit your needs. I had a problem, that was MY fault, but they kindly assisted me both by email and through the play store, great customer support! Thank you so much! Edited
