My App has crashed on my phone for four days now - this followed lag time, and I thought it would be resolved as others had the same challenge on Twitter. I have to use *334# now, but as I can't get customer care, realising it's time to move away from this as a primary way of payment. It's also expensive, but being unable to reach customer care and having had experience of my phone stolen and money swiped, this is scary. Edited

unlike the Airtel app which is simple to setup just by entering phone number and a verification code this app wants you to go to the moon and back for authentication to happen.what nonsense you can't use other carriers data or wifi and even if I use safaricom data it won't work. telling me to insert a valid sim and it's in the phone already working.

Has been crashing since I updated it today. It's a usefule app, but forcing us to update and no roll back incase of instability,just serves to prove how far safaricom has fallen. Update March 2026 The app is no longer working. No update, probably switched off the API. I had a lot of saved account numbers on Pay Bills. Airtel app is wayyyyy better. Edited

It's reliable at first, but then it is refusing me to access my card now I can't view my card details because it's refusing and the assistant zuri isn't helpful. Safaricom you need to improve that. I even deleted the app and re-installed it, and I logged out and it's still not viewing my card details.

Slow and unresponsive at the best of times, Mpesa messages never send in time or it tells you transactions have failed when they have actually gone through. The only reason I still use this is for the bill management feature but honestly even that seems pointless now given that I only use it once a month.
