edit: I'm unable to connect to my tv lately. it keeps on saying I'm not on the same local network. this is really annoying i have searched for and tested several different casting apps. all of them are limited or extremely expensive but Airdroid really exceeded my expectations. keep it up! 💯 Edited

it can be a challenge to get the two to connect but once it does it connects and you can play your sound through it and control it on your computer. it's a great thing to have when you have a little one that likes to play on your device. let's you know what they are watching doing on it. it is nice when your computer won't download certain apps either. I love this app and would give it five stars but don't like the challenge of getting them connected.

I like the app and how it functions. My only complaint is, it stays on my notification screen and won't come off. I tried disabling the app, but nothing works. I wish they would fix that. Its very annoying to have to sign out or even uninstall the app just to close out the application and not have it on my notification screen on my phone.

The free version of this app always worked sporadically. I got tired of its poor performance, so I ponied up $20 so I could connect via USB. While that works much better, I bought it to watch Netflix on a bigger screen than my phone. But all you get is a black screen because of DRM prohibitions. Whatever. I contacted the developer for a refund and they ignored me. I will try a chargeback on my credit card, but unscrupulous criminals located in Singapore will decline or re-charge. Don't purchase! For the free version to work your phone and computer must both use the same Wi-Fi connection. Otherwise you have to upgrade to the premium version which I did. Second thing to know is that Netflix and formula 1 TV will show you a blank screen. I can hear the audio I can see the subtitles with the screen is blank. Unfortunately the app is not a good fit for me. However everything else worked as advertised. Edited
