I, like many others, am here from the Zombies, Run! world (which you don't have to run btw). I listened to the podcast but thought it would be fun to do it the way it was intended. What's cool is that they corrected the negatives to create the awesome ZR we love. If this could be incorporated into the ZR app, that would be great. I do like seeing what's collected immediately and being able to relisten to clips during the mission. Just wish you didn't need 2 hr/day or eyes on screen all the time. Edited

I still enjoy this app, but as the most expensive app purchase I expect it to work better than freebies. I've had to restart episodes if I haven't finished it under a timeframe or switch between wifi (on/off and 4G). Sometimes the episode never resets, locking up at the last point I walked to during a reset, even if I continue, for several minutes even a half hour. I've had to skip ahead 4 episodes for this glitch. Still fun & motivational but not sure I'd recommend it to anyone looking to buy

I'm not a fan of the subscription model pricing, though the experience of the app does seem better than when I tried this a few years ago (though not sure if that's is solely due to app development or because I have a nicer phone now). I really like the storyline, but I wish the episodes were shorter/easier to fully complete. The motivation to get the next story piece is zeroed out when I don't have the greater part of an hour to dedicate to it.

For Zombie Run! Enthusiasts looking for that ZR experience, you'll likely be disappointed. The core is the same, but there's no gaming aspect beyond just the episodes. Of which, you will need to play multiple times to collect everything. My biggest gripe for the game, is that items aren't auto picked up like for ZR. Meaning you have to stare at your phone throughout the whole episode to make sure you get all the items. A shame, as it takes you away from experiencing the beauty of the outdoors

Cool idea, well-acted story, but the actual app doesn't work well enough to support the content. I finally had to uninstall the app after it stopped recognizing that I was even moving, preventing me from making any more progress. I even tried reinstalling once, but the app does not save any progress at all when reinstalling, so everything was reset. I enjoyed what I was able to play, but I'll be looking for a different walking app.
