I've been a long time user of this app and I loved it but it breaks my heart to see how many features are locked behind a pay wall now. I'd understand a cap on alarms and I could maybe understand the custom ringtones, but requiring premium to make a new alarm at all is wild. I deleted a lot of my saved ones because I assumed there was a limit to how many you could make, but now I just keep having to reset the same alarm to whatever time I need.

I am deleting this app today because it does not work very well on my Z fold flip phone because in order to turn off an alarm I have to unlock my phone. it does not break through the screen lock and the process of unlocking my phone almost always snoozes the wakey alarms. I had considered buying this app because it is definitely cute but it's not practical almost to the point of uselessness on my phone.

Unfortunately having to change a previously good review to a negative one. I have been using Wakey for close to 6 years now, with a couple of issues along the way but nothing serious until recently. For the past 4-6 weeks, the volume of the alarm app itself is getting turned down and resulting in missed alarms when I sleep with the alarm only 1-2 feet from my head! I am going to have to look for a new app, I don't want to have to worry about checking my alarm volume before bed every night. Edited

Do you mean that the volume of the alarm goes down between the evening let’s say, and the morning when the alarm is triggered?

This app was wonderful! My go-to for many reasons. I used to have a lot of alarms for my busy schedule, and when that changed i deleted my alarms to make new ones. Now, I cant make more than THREE without them immediately pushing their premium service. This is the second time theyve lowered the number of alarms you get and its annoying. Better to go to literally any other app that actually lets you make more than a handful. Genuinely dissapointing.

I foolishly updated my app 2/2025, and now they have removed some of my reminders because now it's a premium pay app to have as many reminders as I had. I am extremely unhappy! 😡 Years ago I installed the app. Only One Small Exception Sometimes the alarm gets lost while it's "alarming" so be sure to set the duration short, else the only reason I've found to end it is to reboot the phone. Perhaps a good reminder to reboot the phone. 🤔 Edited
