Spotify has been my go-to for years, but the only issue I have is the password situation. While I'm making playlists, I get signed out automatically for some reason. I put in my password and it became invalid, forcing me to change my password again and again. UPDATE: My email address was to be used as a login instead of my username. Problem solved! Edited

I don't know if I exactly like the TV/game console app (I also have the app on Xbox, and it seems there's no Google TV-particular issues or any of that). Lyric sync just never worked on TV, and you can't directly go to the artist of a song you're currently playing, so it definitely has some setbacks compared to Spotify's other apps. But I guess the main point is that everything you need to work, works, so I'll leave a 4-star

Spotify works perfectly on my Apple cell phone however, it does not work on my Sony tv. As other people have stated, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and it still does not work. The issues I'm having is that the lyrics are delayed and plus the sound does not work all the time. There are a number of issues with this app and hopefully Spotify gets it together and do an update that is actually beneficial to its users. I truly enjoy using this app again, I hope Spotify fixes these issues. Edited

Latest version broke functionality on Nvidia Shield, Have uninstalled Spotifiy and re-installed (version 1.30) but still doesn't work. Have deleted cache and data and still doesn't work. Sometimes it will load the album or playlist and show the cover-art, and even start counting time, but no audio plays. Other times when selecting an album, it loads the one next to it. Supper buggy.

Have dropped to one star, as Android TV app is terrible and they seem to do nothing to correct it. Lock ups ruin it and make it unusable. Like the app when it works. Don't know if it is a recent update, or what, but it locks up on every use and will not respond to any commands. Clearing the cache didn't work, nor did uninstalling and re-installing the app. Hope they can fix this, as it didn't happen in the beginning. TV is Sony XBR-X930C. Edited
