This just a great app and has been one of my favorites for the last ~7 years. I use it to understand historical events in terms of what else is going on in the world at that time. Great filters (e.g. only leaders, wars, science, etc.) and time ranges, which is helped by the ability to zoom. For example, find out what was going on in the rest of the world during the 100 years war. Items are linked to Wikipedia if you want more information. Edited

Needs the ability to collapse subsections, specifically for the purpose of getting a better grasp of the continuity of the Eons, their Eras, and which Events belong to which. The current model makes it very difficult to see where each Eon or Era runs into the next, because they stretch so long down, it's impossible to view on a mobile screen.

minimal, informative, updated- best the best app design 1. no ads 2. good updates and it doesnt force you to update for using it. just update it from playstore whenever required. 3. very lightweight. can be installed on lightest memory devices. 4. the settings are very useful as well for example u can make your own timeline. 5. doesnt hang or lag. 6. i can even pay for such apps subscription its so good. 7. doesnt send stupid notifications. This is a useful approach, this may become a very useful app with time, easily a 5*. I like the tie-in with Wikipedia (though history is not Wikipedia's strongest field) and that you can zoom in and out in time. But apart from the time line the entries are unorganised. Not dependencies, geography, cultures. As is it is more like a bookmark app for Wikipedia.

One may call it limited in scope, but I see that as an advantage. What it specifically sets out to do, this app does perfectly. The link-up to Wikipedia is a stroke of genius - much better than having its own articles, which would inevitable fall short due to the sheer volume required. This app is free and without adds. If you are at all interested in history it deserves your attention. Edited
