This game suffers from a SEVERE lack of depth. You start the game by beating a "dungeon" deck. The thing is, the enemies in the dungeon NEVER change. They don't get harder, they don't evolve, there are no variants... It's the same enemies time after time. The game is also very buggy. I got soft locked multiple times. And clicking on the deck merchant buttons just brings me to the leaderboards? That makes no sense . Maybe I would like the game more if I could get past these bugs. Edited

I love this game. I personally prefer games that don't require intense strategy to win, and this one is challenging but not too hard. I had fun playing to collect the ability cards, and I'm still having fun after collecting all of them. I do wish some of the other achievements weren't quite so difficult, but I still enjoy playing. The art is great, the music and sound effects are excellent. Game play/controls work perfectly.

I'll say this. It's rare I ever have a game installed on my phone for more than a week. Even rarer a mobile game will hold my interest for that long. But for about a month, maybe two, this game has had my full attention. The progress is slow, yes. But the game itself is fun, strategic, challenging, and well balanced. Tiny Touch games is one of my favorite developers. Monetization doesn't punish the player, and the unlockables end up way more rewarding than they seem initially. Highly recommended

Card Crawl is a very fun game. I played the repetitive fee version for a year or so because even though there are not many cards to play with, games are quick and fun. I bought the full version for $4.99 and really like all the new cards (40 in total i think). There is also a Dungeon Maker mode to create and share your customized decks. Would love some new dungeon cards artwork added at some point. Edited

A nice core concept, but lacks depth. Different monsters that have special effects (Can't be targeted by spells, can't be blocked by shields, etc.) would help add some depth to the otherwise basic number crunching. Additionally, you have no idea what RNG picks the game will give you for ability cards. Some, Shield Bash, can solo win an entire run, while others only serve to increase your score, and a few can even get you killed!
