It is free! But it's so worth that $1 to upgrade! With the free version, you can't open anything else while the white noise app is on. So worth the $1 to be able to play sounds while scrolling on your phone as you wait for baby to settle to sleep. I've had this app since my son was born & using it for my 3rd due soon! I even still use it for my 3 year old when we just need a little white noise to help him nap.

Edit 11/2/19- Had to down grade my review. Lately this app has been cutting off randomly in the middle of the night. I'm typing this at 4am because it turned off again and I can't get back to sleep. If they fix this issue I will gladly switch back to 5 stars. Have used this app for 2 years on my s6. I love that I can back out of the app and do something else while the noise continues, like read a book. Great purchase!

Worked well for 5 nights of vacation, then stopped last night after a couple hours, so had some disturbed sleep. I like the brown noise, at about mid-high volume. This app has better-quality sounds than several other in the Play store. Im going to give it some more tries until I get home! Hoping for solid sleep tonight!

Reliable and very easy to use. White noise starts straight away which is VERY useful when you need it to help calm your baby. Good variety of white noise with ability to add more. The high colour rattle is very useful when baby is fussy or has begun to get themselves worked up. Paid for the non-advert version as it's an app I use a lot of the time. Keep up the good work

This app is great for drowning out local neighbourhood noises at night. My only issues with it are that it's a little too easy to switch sounds, there should be a lock option so that it doesnt switch sou ds with an accidental touch. Also the app tends to crash if running while the phone is plugged in.
