This app is really helpful, especially for my sleep. I was having trouble leaving my phone alone in bed, and it was affecting my sleep. Now I start a 2 hour challenge, and set my phone aside. Knowing I can't touch my phone without paying, even a small amount, really does help. Before too long, I drift off. I'm really pleased with this app. Edited to add: I've started having a problem where it starts but the timer doesn't count down and after the time I set (usually 4 hours) I have to hit "quit" Edited

Hello Lisa, the end of the detox is saved to the system scheduler to prevent any mistakes. The time on the main screen can cycle between time left > end time > current time. If it is not moving, it is the end time. Could you use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug, and send your application logs, when the detox does not end, please? Thanks

This is my favorite tech limiting app and I've tried a lot of them! It's got every feature I need, a super simple interface, and the devs always reply to emails if there's any issues. I don't just use this for a full detox, but it's also my app for scheduling focus times. You can set several different options like "work" and "family time" (you can edit the labels), and then use these for separate automatic schedules that block what you don't need for that time of the day. Perfect app, thank you!

I really love this app. I tried hiding my phone or locking it up but that was too extreme. I still need my phone in case of phone calls and texts I needed to get back to. This app provides the perfect balance between allowing useful apps and preventing mindless doom scrolling. I've been a lot happier since being away from my phone and appreciate the accountability fee for when I do slip up. I wish my calorie tracking app would implement this same approach. Edited

This app is great and lets you block apps and websites on a schedule. Minus one star because, if you accidentally open a blocked site (say, by clicking on a search result without looking at the domain), it's a pain to use your web browser at all for the rest of the break without using an emergency break (limited uses) or being really really fast to close the offending tab.

worked really well for me for a long time! I did find a workaround (described below) to let me use my distracting apps. It's become muscle memory, so I'll be switching to a new app for at least a while. But I may come back if it gets fixed! . . . . . . . . . . If I swipe up as if I'm going to another app I recently used, and then go back to the same app, it lets me in. I'm pretty bad at self control, so once I found this "hack", I used it all the time.
