UPDATE 8/2021: i upgraded my phone to an s10 and the widget doesn't change daily anymore. It's stuck on the same word. Am I doing something wrong? 4/2021:Love the simplicity and ease of use. Does exactly what it says. The widget actually tells you the Spanish word then the English. If there's space there's even an example. You can click for more info and to hear it pronounced. And good beginners words. The ads are minimal, and no notifications equals perfection. Edited

This app is bare bones and does exactly what is advertised. Gives you a word, some examples, and audio of how its pronounced. Its not the prettiest looking app, but i dont care one bit and actually makes me trust it more as its focusing on its main purpose, not fluff.

I have benefitted greatly from many of the words I have learned so far. Some of the words aren't too relevant to daily life and I wish the audio pronunciation were slowed down with a larger pause between the Spanish and English. Otherwise, love it!

This app is good except I keep trying to change the accent and it keeps defaulting back to Spain. Also, one of the daily Spanish sentences had English words in the middle ("and" instead of "y")

The concept is nice, but the app sends me 7 notifications per day, instead of just one, and there's no option to change it. i don't need to see the word of the day 7 times... Edited

This is strange. On our test devices we get 1 notification per day, as per expected. However, we have modified the code, so it will be working 1 notification per day on every device.
