This is a terrible piano. Could buy a cassio for less and it would sound better. Plus it would have the full funky generic songs we have all come to love around this time of year! Response to author: yes I have. While it has an impressive number of songs, many seem half-assed and others such as the iconic, "Lean On Me" by Club Nouveau (for starters). I am sure if the user had a midi keyboard this would be much more useful. Edited

Sorry you feel this way. All the songs have been originally interpreted to bring out the melody as to support the app's goal of learning melodies by ear. Whilst we have about 20 million users, we aim to continue to improve. Please give recommendations to

Used it a bit and got bored. If this is for what it says it is(the price of 24$) then I don't think it's worth it. To be fair musescore can "teach" you the same as it's sheet music and has options for piano roll and shows a keyboard with highlighted notes for left and right hand, free although subscription allows for some songs and other stuff like printing etc. Although the title says piano melody pro, I think it could benefit from giving the full key board instead of the 52 key.

Sorry you have misunderstood. This app is designed so you learn songs on the piano by ear. Here's a tutorial: https://youtu.be/3jrTaN8VnhM?t=45 showing we recommend a few notes at a time then repeat. Over 20 million users are enjoying the regular version, and this Pro version has over 1000 songs which have been originally interpreted.

This is not a teaching tool. It doesn't actually "teach" you how to play the piano. It just tells you to push keys on your screen. That's not teaching how to play the piano, much less "mastering". It doesn't appear that you can connect it as a MIDI to an actual keyboard. I only download this because it comes free with play pass. Misleading product description; don't waste your money or your time.

Sorry for your misunderstanding. This app allows you to learn to play your favorite songs on the piano by playing back the melody. It's learning by ear...not the traditional music teacher with sheet notation. Many users are using the app with a MIDI connection with an actual keyboard. Have you selected 'MIDI Enabled' in the settings?

The list of songs is very impressive however I know nothing about playing the piano and the way it teaches you in the app is not as interactive enough for me. Watching it play a part and just repeating what you tried to remember and pressing a button that tells you if you did it wrong is hard. I am sure it will work out for a lot of people but it's just to tough. I might just keep the app installed to listen to the piano songs haha. Edited

Thanks. We recommend to make it easy is to focus on just a few notes at a time. And also you can adjust the speed in the settings. Here's a tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lq6xwrAsqu8

Not the most user friendly and I sync having the ability to use your physical keyboard without an MIDI connection should be an option. Having the capabilities to play along and have the app able to listen like many other piano teaching apps. To be able to support functionality so the app can hear the piano wirelessly Edited

Yes, you can now sync the app with your physical keyboard with or without a MIDI connection. There is an onboarding tutorial and help explaining what every icon is used for. Here's a youtube tutorial https://youtu.be/3jrTaN8VnhM?t=45 showing you that in this play and repeat app.
