Very cool app, I'm learning some things while having fun. I have always had a good ear for music. I can listen to just about any song and figure it out and that's great, what's not great is I have no idea how to make up my own music. One thing I would like is to be able to ad my own guitar chords to those that the app gives me to use in a key. For instance try playing Free Bird, it won't let me have an Fmaj, just an F#maj.

Glad you like the app. We will consider your suggestions for the next update. You can change key to have the chord you want in Chord Jam and Learn Chords. Please get in touch by email so we can understand what you want.

It's one of the best apps to learn with. And you can gain a lot of knowledge even with the free version. My suggestion is I wish I could see the key of a riff while it is playing. I also wish I could specifically select whether I want to test myself on the major or minor scales when I enter the scale challenge mode. I don't like the fact that I have to do both of them. Edited

Thanks for the suggestions. You can customise what scales you wish to test yourself. In the Scales Game / Chords Game exercise, press 'Select Level', then 'My Focus Group' and then choose whichever.

Clunky and ads make me stop wanting to use the app immediately. I used it to explore chords and it doesn't even work correctly. The info button says "press the root note button", but you do that and it's not even the root note button. They messed up and have two buttons that both do the same thing "Select Open Chord". So I can't even select the root note like the instructions say..... I went back to try again and there was a video ad and I realized this app is trash. Uninstall

Thats the same thing with interval labels. Low ROI study. To be useful, this app would have to function like Fretboard Learn, which is exceptionally useful and am very thankful for. Single note quizes that test rote memorization without relation to reference patterns. This is key to fretboard visualization. The prompts would be: "Play FMaj Position 1, Degree 1, Octave 2" or "Play FMaj Position 1, F2." Being able to select individual strings is also necessary as to not overwhelm who I teach. Edited

Ignore the last comment. Sorry for the misunderstanding. To get the intervals from root note (degrees), go to Settings -> Select Interval Labels (Jam) and Highlighting on Correct (Jam) then go to Solo Jam exercise. Then you can see whether you can the right degrees of the given key.

A Chord & Scale Shreding Delight. The Penatonic & Other Scales along with the right background music, especially made for a very amazing actual guitar solo dream come true, 4 listeners who like the Guitar Lead. I learned alot on the hearing of music that seemed to always grasp my extra sub-concience sound preferances awareness, especially guitar shreds. The App would probably been a Classic Rockers Wonder at the Time. Try "Now you Shred" on Play Store "Play Lite" You Tube floating Mini-window
