9 of 10 times it says "there is an error and to "try again later" when trying to transfer money/send money. terrible app. Awful. Would not recommend it to anyone. On top of that, it is virtually impossible to get in touch with someone regarding an issue. You either have to chat to the A.I. bot, which gives you the most generic answers to your questions, or when you call, you have to go through the most erroneous automated system that leads you nowhere with no answers. this is THE WORST app EVER, esp for a BANK!!! The app has SOOOO MANY ERRORS!!! It cant correctly keep track of balances. it cannot even process a payment correctly. I pay my bill, WHICH ONE CAN ONLY DO IN THE APP, & it said the pmt did not go thru. so i do it again. & it went thru twice!! no one did a thing about it. i had to wait A MONTH to get a refund check. the agents are all foreign - can NOT understand English. i closed my acct it was so bad. i refuse to have errors with my money!!!!! I have push notifications for promotional content disabled in the app settings yet still occasionally receive them. Worse, these notifications seem to wake the screen from sleep. It's not only bad that it's ignoring user settings, but it's worse that it's treating promotional offers like some sort of high-priority notification that the user MUST see.

Cannot cash checks digitally through venmo. No matter what troubleshooting I do, i always received error A103. Closing the app and clearing cache doesn't work, turn off mobile data and turn it back on, doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling the Venmo app does not work. Also, do not enable 2 step in app verification, it does not work, you will get stuck in an infinite loop, eventually unable to bypass it until you turn it off while using the app. Edited

I really like the app, unfortunately when trying to cash a check it goes through and endless loop after taking the first picture and having to verify my identity it uploads the first picture but when trying to add the second it just goes through and endless loop of verifying identity and never allows me to add the second picture to finish the deposit.
