Dislike the latest update. While I don’t mind having my emails sorted into categories, it’s frustrating that when this feature is enabled, the app always opens to the "Primary" tab by default. I want to open directly to all my emails, not just a filtered view. I’ve disabled the categories. The AI summary of emails is unnecessary - so disabled. The catch-up tool just gets in the way as well as the catch-up notification, so I turned off both. I simply just want to check my email.

2021: Down to one star. Frequently it gets stuck opening a particular mail piece regsrdless of selection, and must be force stopped and restarted. This happens at least once per session. 2025: Still a mess. Randomly jumps from one open email to another adjacent one. I've paid for Yahoo+ for 25 years, so I guess the joke's on me.

just like every other app you guys suck. forcing the app to sort emails and automatically showing ONLY the primary category when the app is opened is garbage. no matter how many times you switch it to show ALL messages or just reverts right back to only showing the primary category. found out how to switch it off but what an inconvenience to have to just discover one day that the app won't show all of my emails. I did not turn this setting on. it was forced. what a joke

Recently went from seriously bad to much, much worse. This is NOT a 4.5/5 app! Infuriating it's been years and you can't seem to fix major issues. After the most recent UI updates (I was able to turn off some of the most annoying features) I open and am in the middle of reading the content of an email and all of a sudden another email will open in it's place. Still looking for a better alternative while still keeping my yahoo email. Edited

Hate the latest updates. When I open the app, I want to see ALL of my emails, not the ones Yahoo deems "Primary." It's also annoying to have to hold down an email and then select the "select" option. Why add an extra step there? Also, the latest update makes it difficult to delete emails. I can no longer use the swipe function - it simply doesn't work. Feels like this app is going backwards in development. It's just getting more difficult to use with extra steps everywhere.
