I love the summarize feature onIy on some sites. I like how the recommendations are trainable and if it's like Artifact, it takes a month for good suggestions. the only thing I really hate is the reading streak notifications. It's impossible to silence or disable. It's useless, disturbing, and made me stop using the app. Another annoyance is the articles don't link to the original source which makes saving them to Reader difficult. Edited

Works well, except when logged out you lose all saved articles. Unfortunately it has a pretty biased news algorithm. When you use the app tools provided to see less of a type of article it does not work very well and seems to still want to show certain political viewpoints. As a result I have been using this app less and less and am looking for an alternative. Edited

It seemed to be working fine for three days until the app changed its format to black. My added feeds have once again disappeared. I followed BR's instructions on how to fix it, and it didn't resolve the issue. Help! I'm about done with the Yahoo News app entirely! Everytime the app logs me out, it deletes ALL of my added feeds (like Tech, Opinion, Weather, Celebrity, etc.). It's so frustrating to have to add them back every single time I log back into the app.

I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. Clear the app’s cache
2. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
3. Restart your mobile device
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data. -BR

The news reports in the app all have a major bias one way or another. It's frustrating. Functionally it works fine, never had a crash, never had an overly annoying ad. Edit: Dropping a star (4 to 3) because the bias seems to be increasingly obvious, I have to fact check multiple articles elsewhere before I form an educated opinion on anything political. For general news, it's typically fine. Edited

News feed works fine. You can customize it to show areas of interest. It has the frustrating habit of sending a push notification with a really interesting headline, but when you open the alert, that news story is not shown. Not even if you scroll all the way down. Half the time it won't even bring up the missing story if you search for the exact title from the push notification. That gets old fast. Also, too many ads mixed in with real news. At least they are now marked as ads.
