can easily set time and location to calculate the moon phases, time of rise, and set. Even if you're not an expert like me, you can decide the best time to do some stargazing.

This app is quite useful to find out if and where the moon should be visible at any given time and date, including information about azimuth, altitude, phase, moonrise and moonset, and culmination. This app would be even more useful if there were a possibility to search in the reverse direction, i.e. looking for times and dates that satisfy a set of conditions. Example: When can I see a full moon with an azimuth between 30° and 120° at an altitude of at least 30°? That would be outstanding.

Helps me establish the New Moon (Chodesh) days for the numbering of my days on the Set-Apart Scriptural calendar. I use my eyes visually for confirmation but this help verify the witness in the sky! Awesome app 👍

for a free app and for those who love to be there at the perfect time to watch the full moon rise over the ocean, this is an excellent app. I use SunCalc a lot too

I really appreciate the visual that shows me the moon's position and phase in the sky relative to my home location. Kudos!
