Tldr: It's missing important features. The good: Simple and no ads. The bad: it doesn't show sunset and sunrise at the same time. It's missing the altitude arc, and it doesn't draw a line from the selected location to the sunset for some reason. Basically it's missing some very helpful features from the website and it's much less useful for photography because of that.

Nice simple app, almost as good as the browser version. I wish it had a few missing features, such as the altitude arc the sun follows at the given location on the selected day and the colored band of altitudes possible during the year, as well as the sunrise/sunset direction rays. However, the time slider and the changing color of the sun indicator (yellow above horizon, gray below) do a fine job of showing the same daily information.

I love this damn app!! Trying to grow potted plants and was confused by my perception of sun's path and what to expect at certain points in growing season. We have some obstructions with trees blocking light. This app really helped me understand what is going on at my location relative to compass grid and sun's path across the sky. I love it. Well done!!

I like this app especially for the high quality visual of the suns orientation on places I visit. The slider for time is great. However in the past year or so the shadows seemed to have disappeared. Looking at neversink river near rock hill, ny no longer shows shadows. The river bends have steep hills that show significant shadows. This no longer shows up on the app

5/5 no ads, multiple maps, times for sunset sunrise in UTC relative to location. I really needed to know when dusk and dawn are but they are already 30 minutes off of sunrise/sunset. So knowing those two times solves my problem. People can change the date on the app which is great to see where the sun was\is. It does lack some visuals and data that are found on the site. But it gets the job done
