I was excited for this game at first. It looked like a fun puzzle game. Then I went into it. In order to 1. lift the daily limits on untangling pokemon, 2. gaining access to 50 new pokemon and new levels, and 3. getting the actual game overall and being able to play prior levels up to three months in advance, you have to spend $10. Plus another $26 for the DLC packs. This was advertised NOWHERE in the trailer. I unfortunately don't see this lasting long as a game unless they fix the paywall.

Microtransaction gatcha slop is all this game is. You get what amounts to about one minute of the most basic puzzle gameplay a day unless you shell out ten bucks at a minimum or thirty five max with likely more paid content on the way. This is just plain greedy. Don't bother. At least TCGP feels like a full game for free players with actual perks for paid members. This makes me want to cancel my premium membership for that game if the company is going to be this greedy.

For free you get a couple of daily puzzles that are for toddlers. If you want to play more than just daily it is $10. There are currently 2 dlc puzzle packs that are $15 each. This game is a cash grab. Solving puzzles gives yarn to make pokemon. You don't get to pick the pokemon you want to make. It gives you a random type of yarn that goes in a machine that gives a random pokemon from the set list. I see this as a gateway for kids to get hooked on virtual gambling games. Edited

so far so good (Day 1) But the reason for 3 stars is for two reasons. 1. The ice sliding minigame, make it buttons to push like in the trampoline game and not gyro. Or at least an option to choose. 2. the dlc is yikes...I understand gotta make money for the servers and hard work etc. but locking what looked to be 30+ different puzzles, and 80+ pokemon behind around $30 sucks. Hopefully it can be a thing where when you add new stuff as dlc you release the previous for free. NGH but I wish.

It's a fine enough game if you want a daily puzzler, but I'm not a daily user like that, I have surges, and so being forced into dailies is undesirable. So is being told that I should pay 10 dollars if that's the case, or that you have more puzzles to offer right away if I pay you 15 a pack or 20-something for the bundle. Why isn't it included automatically if it's available on release day? This is a pathetic joke, and I'm exhausted by this pokemon money farming.
