I'm a child of the 80's. I grew up on the ColecoVision and the NES. This is exactly the type of game that I grew up playing. The only issue I have is that the movement controls (both pad and tap) do not have much precision. The games I played in the mid to late 80's had more accurate movement than this. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. The story is addicting, gameplay is fun, great battle mechanics. All-round great game!

It's better than some of the other Kemco games, but my main pet peeve is the time between each random monster encounter is TOO short, and it hurts these games. It's annoying and aggravating!!! We should be allowed to set the amount of time between each monster encounter, or turn it off and on at our choice. Quit holding us hostage with these over-frequent monster encounters! These short walks throw off the fun exploration. Stop it! Edited

Fantastic story writing, was very shocked. Makes a reference to Chrono Trigger which was amazing. There is micro transactions, however from what I have seen they're not necessary in any way to having a very enjoyable experience. If you grew up playing jrpgs, you will not regret playing this game. They even found a way to eliminate the boredom that comes from endless grinding and made it super easy to level up. Once you get OP you can even turn off random encounters and enjoy the story

I love Kemco games The storyline is great, there are some cool elements. However 1.) I have Google pass so I can only purchase 100gems a day which isn't cool. There needs to be a option for me to purchase more with my own personal money or at least up the amount per day so I can enjoy the game the way I would like to without gamepass. 2.) I would like the option of open land field traveling and fighting. Instead of being forced to jump to towns. Other than that it's pretty decent play.

Seriously, that was the best way to get me to write a review in any of the KEMCO games. Pretty funny, too. So far the story is good and the gameplay is standard. Difficulty curve is brutal, esp on expert, so much that I had to go to easy multiple times. Story was a good concept. And a nice twist near the end. Graphics and gameplay is like all other KEMCO games. Good stuff Notes: metal and gold canyon. Get at it. Edited
