Best text/adventure story I've read. I've waited a long time to write a review because it took me a while to decide to delve deep into every possible choice offered to play this game and I'm glad I did. The amount of commitment that went into this is astounding and incomparably the best I've read. I've spent a lot of time also reading the demo for part 2 and it only gets better and further improves everything. There's not enough space to type all that I want, but story and characters 10/5 stars.

WONDERFUL GAME! I first downloaded (and then paid for the full version) of this game a few years ago. Initially, it wasn't my favorite - it was a solid game, well written, but the story wasn't particularly interesting to me. Playing it now,though, after maturing some and being more willing to explore different paths, I think I can say this might be one of my favorite choose your adventure game! I could hardly put it down, and I just wanted to keep reading, just like a good book.It was fantastic! Edited

For those interested: the sequel to this is not only confirmed, but more or less completed, just going through the publishers side. You can even find a page for Fallen Hero: Retribution on Steam. Attention to detail and quality, as well as a commitment to making your choices matter means that as substantial and excellent as Rebirth is, Retribution is exponentially larger - hence the long time inbetween releases.

Most thorough game I've read. Some details are vague but explained in part 2, so don't let it slow you down. Love the characters and the vast amount of ways you can play your character and change your mind on a whim. Play "two" characters, or play them as the same person, both ways are rewarding. Replayability is wonderful. Different choices will give you new information into the characters. I've played this at least a dozen times in anticipation for the next parts to come out. Still my favorite

One of the best written, if not THE best written, CYOA I've ever played. I've purchased almost everything by Choice of Games/Hosted Games and this is at the top of your list of options on Google Play.I'm also glad the author let me know before the free portion of the game that it's part of a series. I've been infuriated by other authors who hit me with bait and switch tactics and never mentioned its part of a series after slapping me with a $5 price tag. Give this a shot, well worth the money Edited
