Looks great And I'm sure it works beautifully for others, but I can't for the life of me get it to actually record. I hit record and I acknowledge the caution notice affirmatively but it does not record and continues to say "not recording" I feel like I've exhausted every option in the small settings menu and still nothing. 5*s if I could get the recording working.

Apparently the app still works with older model phones (it works on my old Samsung S3 but not my A11 or S21) but is not compatible with newer models of phone. From the comments it looks like sometime in 2018 when new phones came out it was not supported by newer models. I'm still using the Torque app for engine monitoring and love it but I searching for an app to record video front and rear from my phone. Hope this helps people.

This is an amazing app if you're looking to correlate vehicle PIDs with audio and video of a drive for troubleshooting, or even as a simple dashcam with a couple of widgets. I considered knocking off a star due to the glitchiness some widgets have with certain PIDs and the fact that gps-based lap time support isn't available compared to other apps. Then again, lap times can be pretty accurately estimated by correlating the video time stamp with the frame where the lap starts and ends. Overall, there's great stuff here that only needs a bit of fine tuning for a perfect 5. Edited

Great plugin! I'm using a Samsung A54 and love how it records drives with OBD data overlay. While Torque Sync doesn't work for me, I found a workaround: videos and data are saved at Internal Storage/Android/data/org.prowl.recorder. I just copy the files manually. Would be great if export worked better on newer Androids, but overall, solid and super useful!

Bought torque pro for this. Video preview shows fine but recorded video is a screen recording and doesn't seem to support my resolution. Only get green and purple scrambled video. Tried for days every combination of video settings with my device and track recorder. Emailed support with no response. Last update was 2017. Looks like the developers have abandoned this. Very disappointed! Edited
