Update: I have used Water Tracker for several years and it has been very helpful to ensure I hydrate properly every day. Now the app has an ad banner at the bottom as well as a reminder banner. Neither can be closed so I can't add the amount of water because the banners cover the amounts consumed, rendering the app useless to me. My rating went from 5 stars to one since I can no longer add water amounts consumed. Time to find another water tracker app. Edited

helps me remember to drink something, and keeps track of how much I have drank all day. I recently read a news story about a study that was done and the results said that older adults don't remember to drink something as often as younger ones, basically. I have memory issues anyway, and after I read the article, I did notice how I would forget to drink anything and I will go for hours without taking a sip. My meds can cause dehydration, and I would get dehydrated and get sick from it. Edited

Edit: Fixed! Thank you! App worked great for tracking my water intake after bariatric surgery until the latest update to version 2.17.0. I no longer have the option to add water intake as I actually drink. I get a notification every 20 mins & if I accidentally swipe the notification off my screen, I cannot go directly into the app to log my intake. The notification also brings up only 1 oz, so I have to then go back into the app to make a correction. Edited

Okay so far. I like the permanent reminder notification bar. I DONT like not having the ability to change when the day resets. I work nights and my schedule is not normal. Whats the point of tracking your water if it resets halfway through your day? I try some other apps for now. They need to tweak their daily calculator tho. If youre overweight it sets your daily numbers way past reasonable. For example i tested 450lbs and it set it to like 230oz a day lol. The interface could use work too. Edited

I've had the app for about 4 months. Today I scrolled through my history and I see that the percentages are incorrect, showing 100% when I clearly did not meet my goal every day that month. And also I have days that show zero ounces drank. So the app apparently deleted some of my data. But other than that it's been functioning fine. I like how it lets me edit my history. Other water apps don't let you do that. UPDATE: I checked back 2 days later and all of the incorrect data is now correct Edited
