Very useful. I love the bins and tags. Is it possible to add a feature that allows a single field's data to be copied so that it could then be pasted elsewhere? For example, if I need to input an item's serial number into another app or site, I would love to be able to easily copy only the serial number's information so that I could then paste it elsewhere. This feature would make the app perfect for inventorying product for my job and giving other team members easy access to data. Thanks!

Great idea! I'll look into adding that to the next release. It should be an easy change. For now, you can export to csv and you can copy from there. Thanks!

Most useful app like this I found. Tags & additional item info help a lot (like explaining WHERE something is in the closet). It has you add rooms and then containers (and sub containers!!). I just pretend my main containers are rooms. It tells you how many items you have out of the limit. Camera always popping up is annoying (even with the "form" setting selected) when I don't want to add a picture. Another suggestion besides the camera: make the menu open when swiping right (it's easier). Edited

Hey Lilly, thanks for trying Housebook! I fixed the issue with the form opening up every time. It will be in the 2.9.0 release.

My review good a character limit, so it's not as detailed as I wanted. TL;DR: Great app. Great dev. This app is pretty darn close to exactly what I was looking for in an inventory app. It's clean, straightforward, well organized, and includes many great features (some of which I didn't even realize I wanted until I began using them, like the links for guests when they come over) I've been using the app for around 5 years now, and Cameron has been great at responding to feedback and requests

update 4/9/25: Stil love the app despite my requests have not been addressed. Purchased additional items. Keep the good work up Update 5/12/2024: Urgently need to 1) be able to change order of pictures. Original review: Super nice to organize your houses. logical, organized by location, containers and sub-containers. The graphical approach speeds up memory recalls. The developer is responsive and I am hoping that this app can be further developed. Edited

Phenomenal app. It falls perfectly between business inventory apps and simplified home-inventory apps. Allows for complex container levels. I can have racks, levels, bins, containers, etc., each with its own QR code label for incredibly easy searching. Pro-tip: create a Room and Bin called "in-use" so you can move items into it when you take out of a container. Then, you can look at the "in-use" location from time to time to see what needs to be stored. Only negative is lack of auto-export. Edited
