I absolutely hate this app and kid's fire tablet. Clunky and unintuitive. You should be able to easily share content and adjust settings, but it feels like it's at least 5 extra steps to accomplish 1 task. The tablet gets clogged down with all the random apps and videos they have on there. It's ridiculous to have to pay for something so poorly designed and has such incredible lag time. We just purchased a new galaxy tab and can't wait to get rid of this app and fire tablet!!.

the content is consistently good and I don't worry about what she is watching so much but the parental controls could be much better. they aren't flexible enough. when I want to allow access on a moments notice I have to go in and change settings instead of just having a quick button to turn it off an on as I have seen in other apps.

This app does more or less what it states. However it can be better. The granularity of being able to apply different daily limits is great, but needs a toggle: simple version - just set with a screen time for everything, advanced - set each individual app, book, video with different times. Another addition that this app would benefit from is a one time, time addition. You need to add 30 minutes for your child but don't want to mess around with the daily time limits set. Edited

I switched to this from the Family Link app since we just got fire tablets for the kids. Here are the features this app lacks that Family Link has: 1. there is no way to set limits for individual apps. It's one time limit for everything combined. 2. there is no way to "always allow" certain apps (like books/reading or messaging for safety) once the time limit has been used up. 3. there is no easy option to add bonus time once the time limit has been used without altering the weekly sched. Useless as is. If I am required to update my password just to access the app then it's worthless to me I'm not going to change my password and have to log in again on every single TV in the house just because you randomly decided this specific app has to have its own unique password instead of just letting me log in on the phone I'm already logged into Amazon on.
