do not use this app. if you have problems with your booking they will not help. cancelations and refunds are nearly impossible. the travel insurance they offer is useless. the phone numbers are out of country or don't connect. customer service is non existent. I repeat, do not use this app! and their reply to this comment is to call them, a thing I have tried to do many times but the numbers they provide don't work! Edited

I've used this app for years. and today I booked a hotel, and I got an error when I went to pay. so I tired again, but it doubled booked me. wasted 1 hour trying to resolve it, but no one was helped and ending up paying $50 to cancel it when it was 100% the apps fault. IF YOU EVER GET AN ERROR WHEN CHECKING OUT, VERIFY IT DIDN'T CHARGE YOU ALREADY.

We need a "total price" setting and for the filter NOT to reset between searches. Hosts abuse the system by posting a low price then add fees more than double the charge for the night which pushes legitimate listings out of the way. Otherwise, it's a good app that I have been using for years. Genius discounts are nice. Not as generous discounts as competitors but fairly consistent. Need to improve pricing transparency, though. 1. WATCH OUT for phishing scams. They have not built a secure app. Do not open links in any email you get. 2. nor can i set a biometric marker to open it. You should be able to. or a password or something! 3. you cannot link it to sync with your calendar. On a 3 month trip with 16 bookings, that was zero fun for me to transfer to paper, then to calendar. 4. despite all this, they're better than airbnb.

The mobile site advertised a "Mobile-only price" discount, but after booking (a non-refundable reservation), there was no discount to be found. I contacter customer service, which asked for a screenshot of the promo/reservation prior to booking. I didn't have that as I didn't expect any issues. I found the same promotion for the same property with similar dates, sent the screenshot and was bumped to a competitor price match process, which makes no sense. False advertising.
