Awful app for Goodman and Amana Heatpump and ACs - gets stuck at "4 Ton" unit but it's a actually a 2 Ton Heat Pump. Set it manually on the inside unit control board without the app but then the app over-rode it back to 4 Ton and kept the fan speed 50% higher than normal. Screen goes blank or grey sometimes. I've never seen a worse app and it's required for these communicating units. Is this app just a joke?

If I could give it zero, I would. Apparently, this app is designed for the iPhone. The problem is i have no other option to program the furnace other than using this app that won't work on my samsung galaxy s23 ultra phone. also, this information is coming from Goodman tech support, not just a random google search. figure it out boys

terrible experience, app wouldn't communicate with the Bluetooth adaptor and kept crashing. had to find the old APK for the original cool cloud app from a Google search and install it in order to get the furnace working after replacing the board and fan motor

We have a control board to install and this app is REQUIRED for the install. Two of us downloaded it and app would not open. Now, we have a very expensive part, a cold customer, lengthy waits for tech help. Even if it did open and function properly- we simply do not have time to be on hold OR wait for a return call while our cold customer awaits. Recommending this app or not recommending is not an option because it is required for part installation. Hard to believe!

My blower was throwing a B3 code on this application. I notified my installer. The furnace and ac are brand new S series amana and amvc. The thermostat was not showing a code. The rep for Amana said this app is not functional for my equipment. He said the proprietary thermostat is the only thing that matters. The stat only shows active codes to the user on the main screen. It does not allow history to be viewed unless you have a dealer code. Edited
